Guided Tour

Hi, my name is Elisa, I was born in Rome, I have a PhD in Archaeology and never get bored with my beautiful city. In 1999, I founded the Amazing Rome Association to promote and enhance the historic, artistic, natural and archaeological environment of the Eternal City. We want to offer something different from the “mass tourism” invasion and the unqualified, improvised “guides” selling their tours in the street. Our desire is to offer a personalized, high-quality service, available to anyone interested in really discovering and enjoying the treasures of Rome. Amazing Rome organizes a variety of guided tours and excursions throughout Rome and the surrounding region. We will help you satisfy your curiosity visiting the most famous sites as well as discovering new areas of Rome off the beaten track! Amazing Rome is also happy to customize any guided tour as you wish, and will work to satisfy all of your needs and requests.
Our team of tour guides is carefully chosen for their superior expertise and passion. Guides are professionals in the field of tourism, graduates with advanced degrees in Archaeology and Art History, and official licensed tour guides with a vast knowledge of the history and traditions of Rome. We also make sure that each guide is a natural born storyteller, able to transport our customers across centuries, or into the art and culture that defines their chosen point of interest.
Moreover, our guides can provide tours in Italian, English, Spanish, French and German. Special agreements allow us to provide exclusive privileges like skip-the-line access, early admission or permission to enter areas that are normally closed to the general public.
We want to make your visit to Rome memorable, and we want Rome to be part of your favorite memories. Discover the Eternal City with us!
